CUSTOMER SERVICE

Today's cars, light trucks, and sport-utility vehicles are high-tech marvels with digital dashboards, oxygen sensors, electronic computers, unibody construction, and more. They run better, longer, and more efficiently than models of years past.

But when it comes to repairs, some things stay the same. The following tips should help you along the way:

Do your homework before taking your vehicle in for repairs or service.

  • Read the owner's manual to learn about the vehicle's systems and components.
  • Follow the recommended service schedules.
  • Keep a log of all repairs and service.

When you think about it, you know your car better than anyone else. You drive it every day and know how it feels and sounds when everything is right. So don't ignore its warning signals.

Use all of your senses to inspect your car frequently. Check for:

  • Unusual sounds, odors, drips, leaks, smoke, warning lights, gauge readings.
  • Changes in acceleration, engine performance, gas mileage, fluid levels.
  • Worn tires, belts, hoses.
  • Problems in handling, braking, steering, vibrations.
  • Note when the problem occurs.
  • Is it constant or periodic?
  • When the vehicle is cold or after the engine has warmed up?
  • At all speeds? Only under acceleration? During braking? When shifting?
  • When did the problem first start?

Once you are at our location, communicate your findings.

  • Be prepared to describe the symptoms.
  • Carry a written list of the symptoms that you can give us.
  • Resist the temptation to suggest a specific course of repair. Just as you would with your physician, tell us where it hurts and how long it's been that way, but let the technician diagnose and recommend a remedy.

Stay involved. . . Ask questions.

  • Ask as many questions as needed to fully understand your repair. Ask for laymen terms if needed.
  • Don't rush the technician to make an on-the-spot diagnosis. You may ask to be called and apprised of the problem, course of action, and costs before work begins.
  • Before you leave, be sure you understand all shop policies regarding labor rates, guarantees, and acceptable methods of payment.
  • Leave a telephone number where you can be called.

What People Say About Us

  • -Shane M.

They listen to the vision I had in mind for my tacoma and spent time helping me understanding the pros and cons and making the right choices. They ordered the tires, rims and lift kit and had them in shop in just a few days. They were able to work with my schedule to get the job done all the while staying in contact throughout the whole experience. I was blown away with how great the truck turned out and really felt confident with David and Wayne getting it right. I would HIGHLY recommended Lunar low automotive for your vehicle needs, especially off road. They truly are a one stop shop experience with the ability to order and install/tune the parts. Thanks so much David, Wayne and your team and look forward to doing more business in the future.

What an amazing, and dedicated crew that spent more time than they actually had to to make sure my family and I were riding safe! This crew and company is honest and will tell you like it is without breaking the bank. I highly recommend lunar low!

  • -Julie T.

I was very impressed with my first trip there. They were very honest and pricing was reasonable. They even offered to stay open late on a Friday for me after I had an unrelated ignition issue when I returned to work after my lunch hour- above and beyond. Thank you again!

  • -Jaye J.

I took my car here about a week ago for a new starter....Not only was the customer service exceptional but David was able to find the part for a cheaper price (which saved me money) AND they stayed passed closing just so I could have my car the next day! Can't say enough about Wayne and David!!! This is THE GO TO place for your automotive needs! Thanks guys!

  • -Susan Y.

This is by far the best priced with the most most honest auto mechanics I have ever dealt with!! I highly recommend anyone with any auto problem to go here first !! You will not be sorry!! They rock!!!at such a fair and honest price!! Thank you Rusty and Karen Bowers for the recommendation!!!

  • -Shari U.

David and Wayne saved me over $3,000 by going the extra mile and checking things out where 3 other mechanics were quick to tell me I needed a new engine or head gasket....my fix was a simple part that was replaced with an oil change. They are now my and my family's mechanics for life!

  • -Charles W.

These guys are the most trustworthy mechanics I had meet in over 30 years. They gave a detailed quote on repairs and a very fair price. This will be me and my family's preferred garage going forward. Thank you guys for a job WELL DONE.

After being referred to Lunar Low by a friend, we brought our vehicle in to have a few issues checked out. We were impressed with their honesty and speed at resolving the issues our suv was having. They are our go to shop now for everything from tires to inspections and any vehicle maintenance related. We highly recommend this place to all our friends now.
